Back on January 24th a listing appeared on Amazon UK, Spain and Italy for the preorder of a Tamagotchi Pix with a launch date of August 2021. The preorders were later disabled, but the listing is still present on Amazon UK:

The basic details of this device were originally leaked in a Facebook post on September 2020 which had the following:

Along with the community hype for a new color Tamagotchi, there are also concerns about the images provided. The box looks to be an exact replica of the Japanese Tamagotchi iD, and the box art & faceplate designs are jarringly basic compared to previous versions. It's possible this rough look is just an early promo concept not ready for public release.
